A spokesperson for Ministry of Energy (Power Division) while strongly rebutting a story published in a section of media on “Rental Power: Out of Court Settlement occurs” has said that as claimed by the reporter that “Pakistan has reportedly agreed to pay upto $165 million to Turkish Company M/s Karkey Karanddeniz Electric Uretim for out of court settlement” is baseless and no commitment or agreement to pay any sum by the Government of Pakistan has been made to the company.
