PR No. 119 CPEC AUTHORITY ORDINANCE MEETING CHAIRED BY LAW MINISTER Islamabad: September 18, 2019

Federal Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Dr. Barrister Muhammad Farogh Naseem chaired a meeting on China Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority Ordinance at the Law Ministry on Wednesday in order to discuss the observations of some Federal Ministers and SAPM on Poverty, on the Ordinance. The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Mohammad Azam Khan Swati, Federal Minister for Planning Division Makhdoom Khusru Bakhtiar, SAPM on Social Protection and Poverty Dr. Sania Nishtar and Parliamentary Secretary for Law and Justice Ms. Maleeka Bukhari besides other high ranking officials from the concerned Ministries. Ms. Sania Nishtar and Mr. Azam Khan Swati shared their observations in detail. Dr. Farogh Naseem told the participans they may reach a consensus, on the suggestions during the meeting and leave the final decision on the Minister for Planning, Makhdoom Khusru Bakhtiar. Mr. Khusru Bakhtiar told the Law Minister, his Ministry will reflect on the observations and get back to the Law Ministry soon.
