SAPM on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza today visited Basic Health Unit kirpa in rural Islamabad. He observed the facilities being provided at the health Centre, speaking on the occasion Dr. Zafar Mirza said under Islamabad Model Health city initiative of his Ministry all Basic Health Units are being upgraded in Islamabad. Kirpa Basic health Unit is also being transformed into model health city. Dr. Zafar Mirza said that basic health Unit have been made functional and now we are monitoring them. Dr. Zafar Mirza said that health services a right of the people and negligence in provision of facilities to the masses will not be tolerated. He said poor people have same rights as the rich. We are determined to provide health facilities to those living below the poverty line. Dr. Zafar Mirza said in line with vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan all resources are being mobilized to uplift the health sector in the country. Our government is investing on human development with focus on the poor segments. Dr. Zafar Mirza directed the officials at kirpa health center to share a list of the required staff and vacant positions. He advised the doctor and paramedical staff to ensure their attendance and punctuality. To achieve universal health coverage his Ministry was making efforts towards strengthening primary health care added Dr. zafar Mirza. ***** ?
