Imran Ismail, Governor Sindh Called on Ch. Tariq Bashir Cheema, Federal Minister for Housing and Works here today. During the meeting, the issue of the Federal Government’s residential quarters in Karachi came under consideration. Both sides have shown keen interest and commitment to permanently resolve the issue as part of the vision of PM Imran Khan to provide low-cost housing facility to the people. Ch. Tariq Bashir Cheema, Federal Minister for Housing and Works said that we are fully committed to build low cost and affordable housing units under the directives of the PM who is very ambitious to build 5m affordable houses for the poor and vulnerable segments of the society across the country. He also assured Governor Sindh that he would make all possible efforts to find some amicable solution for the occupants of the Federal Government’s residential quarters in Karachi. Imran Ismail, Governor Sindh appreciated the efforts of Ch. Tariq Bashir Cheema and offered his full cooperation for Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain, PTI MPA Jamal Siddiqui were also present during the meeting. ***
