Prime Minister has appointed Sahibzada Amir Jahangir as Prime Minister’s spokesperson on trade and investment for UK and Europe with immediate effect. Sahibzada Amir Jahangir has a vast experience in many fields, he remained advisor to the board of MCR Property Group a real-estate and investment company till date, which has assets in excess of 3 billion pounds which operates throughout Uk and other parts of Europe. He also worked as senior advisor Hyph a UK based Saudi investment company with interest in oil & gas. It had major share holding in the union bank of Pakistan which was later sold to the Standard Charted Bank for over $ 380 millons. He also remained Managing Director Cupola UK PLC, a Uk based limited company which specialized in acquisition of master franchises for Pakistan and Middle-East from 1995-1998. In other appointments as vice chairman Pakistan trade and investment forum where he led two major British trade delegations to Pakistan and was responsible in bringing over one billion GPB investment in Pakistan. During the current year Sahibzada Amir Jahangir also led 3 delegations on different occasions consisting of members of British and European Parliaments to Bangladesh and have distributed over 1.5 million food bags to the Rohinghya Muslim Refugees.
