The Action Committee has briefed the Minister regarding non-implementation of the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding handing over the physical possession of the subject land to the Federal Government Housing Foundation despite the facts that the subject land has already been transferred in the name of Federal Government Housing Foundation and the total amount payable has already been deposited by the Supreme Court Lawyers in the account of Land Acquisition Collector. Matter is lingering on for the last more than three years and the lawyers all over the Pakistan are facing acute hardship and waiting for their legitimate and vested right to be granted to them. Lawyers Action committee regarding Housing project comprised of Mr. M. A. Ghani Advocate Supreme Court, Mr. Rafaqat Ali Kahloon Advocate Supreme Court and Mr. Tahir Mahmood Advocate Supreme Court. Chief Commissioner has been summoned by the Federal Law Minister that why the orders of the Supreme Court has not been implemented and possession of subject land has not been handed over to the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation. Federal Minister has given assurance that the instant matter requires immediate resolution and has given commitment to the Lawyers Action Committee that the matter shall be resolved as early as possible. *****
