PR No.48 PRIME MINISTER’S KAMYAB JAWAN AND NAYA PAKISTAN HOUSING PROGRAMMES TO COLLABORATE FOR THE PROMOTION OF HOUSING SECTOR STARTUPS Islamabad, May 09, 2019

Mr. Muhammad Usman Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs held a meeting with Mr. Zaigham Mahmood Rizvi, Chairman Prime Minister’s Naya Pakistan Housing Programme to discuss promotion of startups in housing sector through subsidized SME lending under Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme for the creation of employment opportunities in the country. It was agreed in the meeting that young engineers and architects, both male and female, would be facilitated to get new startup housing companies registered with SECP, enabling them to take new housing contracts to develop 25,000 model villages across Pakistan under Prime Minister’s Naya Pakistan Housing Programme. In this regard, they will also get access to subsidized loans rrunder SME lending scheme of Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme Mr. Muhammad Usman Dar thanked Mr. Zaigham Mahmood Rizvi for his commitment to engage fresh housing sector startup companies in Prime Minister’s Naya Pakistan Housing Programme. He said, “I am confident this collaborative effort between Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme and Prime Minister’s Naya Pakistan Housing Programme would create number of job opportunities, not only for young engineers and architects but also for other youth associated with different allied industries of the construction sector.”
