A Memorial Ceremony was held in Kingussie Cemetery, Scotland to pay tribute to nine Muslim soldiers, buried there, belonging to the areas that are now part of Pakistan. These soldiers were posted to Scotland in WW 2 and had died during that period, says a press release received from London here today. Ms Isobel Harling, who had witnessed burial as a young girl, had been paying tribute to these Muslim soldiers by laying wreath since 1947 regularly. To acknowledge Ms Harling's dedication, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK, Mohammad Nafees Zakaria wrote her a letter of gratitude which was read out by President of the Royal British Legion Scotland, Lieutenant General Sir Alistair Irwin KCB CBE on the occasion. ***
