PR No. 180 SAFRON MOVES ON TO E-OFFICE SYSTEM Islamabad: February 28, 2019

To ensure efficiency, improved performance through transparency in public service delivery, the Ministry of SAFRON has implemented E-Office program in line with Federal Government’s priorities. There are nearly 80 users in various wings of the Ministry. Mr. Mohammad Aslam, Secretary SAFRON has inaugurated the e-office system in Ministry on Wednesday. Addressing officers on the occasion, he called upon them to learn e-office skills to benefit from the automated system. He also stressed complete digitization of records on priority basis. He added that implementation of the program shall facilitate institutional reforms and help improve performance. He appreciated the contribution of the National Information Technology Board (NITB) and the Ministry’s team led by Mr. Rana Muhammad Akhlaque, Sr. Joint Secretary (A/R) for taking on the challenge of training a large number of officials in a short span of time. He hoped that the implementation of the E-office program at Ministry will serve as a good example for others to follow.
