A Five Member UK Parliamentary Delegation comprising Member Parliament Ms. Naz Shah, MP/ Leader of the delegation, Mr. Faisal Rashid, MP, Lord Rogan, Mr. Davies, CEO, CPA UK and Ms. Umamah Basit had a meeting with Mirza Shahzad Akbar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Accountability/ Chairman of the Assets Recovery Unit here today. Matters of mutual interest especially regarding modalities on recovery of unlawfully acquired assets of Pakistan have been discussed in the meeting. The delegation assured the SAPM to extend all sort of legal assistance and cooperation to Pakistan. The delegation has also highlighted the various issues in Pakistan concerning Overseas Pakistanis residing in U.K. and SAPM has offered his assistance in this regard. ***** ?
