A delegation from Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries called on the Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mizari in her office this afternoon. The delegation, led by Mr. Saqib Taj Abbasi, President ICSTSI, felicitated the Minister on assumption of charge as Minister for Human Rights and ensure their cooperation for better coordination in different areas. The Minister welcomed the delegates and said that the government is committed to facilitate better working conditions for small business. “We are focusing to take steps to improve life of a common man” the Minister said. Matters pertaining to child labour, domestic labour, child abuse and street beggary were also discussed. The Minister reiterated that besides drafting new legislations the government is focusing more on the implementation of the existing laws. The members of the delegation offered their support to different awareness campaigns started by the Government in different markets of Islamabad. The delegates also requested the Minister to support their case pertaining to have a place for an office of Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries in Islamabad. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* ?
