PR No. 08 Minister directs Immediate Improvement in mother and Neonatal services in Polyclinic Islamabad: 3rd December, 2018

Federal Minister, Mr. Aamer Mehmood Kiyani visited polyclinic hospital to review the health conditions of the hospital. Minister directed the staff to ensure their attendance. Federal health minister issued directives to ensure immediate improvements in mother and neonatal healthcare services and convert it into a state of the art facility. Federal minister also shared that federal government is issuing health cards to all eligible households and approximately more than 25 million deserving people will be benefitting from it. In line with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Federal Government is giving extra attention to health and education. People will avail the improved health services in Naya Pakistan. Minister also toured emergency and different wards of the hospital and expressed zero tolerance for any sort of negligence. Minister highlighted the need to ensure up gradation medication and intensive care units. All pending projects of the hospital should be completed within a set timeframe. Minister also expressed his concern over state of cleanliness in the hospital. *****
