Father Robert McCulloch, Procurator General of the Mission Society of St. Columban, Vatican City called on Dr. Muhammad Farogh Naseem, Federal Law Minister, Ministry of Law and Justice at Islamabad. The Vatican representative has extended his gratitude and apprised the Law Minister with regard to some structural issues of the Catholic Church in Pakistan. The Law Minister informed Father Robert that the Catholic Church in Pakistan could be formalized either into a registered Trust or be registered under the Societies Registration Act or under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Bodies Act, Statute. The Law Minister Dr. Farogh Naseem acknowledged the contribution of the Christian community in Pakistan in the education and health sectors and hoped that such support would be extended in future also. In the end Father Robert invited the Law Minister to visit the Vatican City on the invitation of the Pope and the Vatican Government. ***** ?
