PR No. 123 Qatari Ambassador calls on Mr. Zulfiqar Bukhari, SAPM Islamabad: October 15, 2018

His Excellency, Saqr Bin Mubarak Al Mansouri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar, called on Mr. Zulfiqar Bukhari, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis, to talk about issues of mutual interests. The issues of employment of Pakistanis in Qatar and Qatari investments in Pakistan were the core agenda of meeting. Mr. Bukhari emphasized the fact that Qatar and Pakistan need to strengthen cultural ties and that the trade between the two countries should increase. The Qatari Ambassador informed Mr. Bukhari that Qatar is interested in investing in a number of economic sectors in Pakistan. The Ambassador also informed Mr. Bukhari that the Qatari government is planning to create 100,000 additional jobs for skilled Pakistanis in Qatar. Furthermore, Mr. Bukhari proposed to establish a Think Tank on progressive thinking for future projects between the two countries. ***** ?
