Adviser to the Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has said that no decision will be made regarding the privatization of PIA without the consent and will of the employees of the national carrier. Ha said the employees of the Pakistan International Airlines are the real custodian of the national carrier and any decision will be made with the consent of all the stakeholders. He was talking to the PIA Air league delegation led by Central president Shamim Akmal here in Islamabad on Monday. President Islamabad PIA Air league Usman Khan were also present on this occasion. The members of the delegation apprised the adviser about the problems and difficulties, which the employees of the PIA have been facing and put forward their suggestions. Adviser assured them to take all necessary action to resolve their grievances on priority basis and said that all out efforts are being made to uplift the standards of national carrier. Sardar Mahtab also assured the delegation that 10 percent incremental allowances will be given to the employees of the engineering department of PIA. Sardar Mahtab directed the officials concerned to implement the decision without delay. Approval of the Provision of the incremental allowance will be given in the next meeting of the Board of directors of PIA. Talking to the delegation, adviser said that incumbent Government was well aware of the difficulties and issues which the employees are faced with adding that steps been taken to resolve their problems, saying immediate steps would further be taken for the redressal of the problems of the employees. The adviser assured the delegation of taking necessary action to address their grievances without delay. ***
