PR No.51 KASHMIR SOLIDARITY DAY COMMEMORATED IN BEIJING Islamabad: April 6, 2018

To mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day declared by the Government of Pakistan, an event was organized by the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing on 6th April, 2018, says a press release received here today from Beijing. Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Masood Khalid said that this event is dedicated to reaffirm Pakistan’s unflinching diplomatic, political and moral support to the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir. The Ambassador said that despite India’s oppressive policies to quell the movement of self-determination by the Kashmiri people, it was gaining strength. He said that Indian draconian measures in occupied territory were well documented, and even the Indian Scholars and independent human rights groups have condemned Indian atrocities on innocent Kashmiri people. The Ambassador recalled that the UN Security Council resolutions on Kashmir remained un-implemented and called on the international community to fulfill their pledge to the Kashmiri people so that they lead a life of dignity and honour. The participants offered “Fateha” for the departed souls and paid glowing tributes to the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
