H. E. Mustafa Yurdakul, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey and H.E Ardi Stoios-Braken Ambassador of the Republic of Netherland called on Federal Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain in his office at Islamabad today. During the meeting with the Turkish Ambassador, Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said that defence industrial/technical cooperation is integral part of Pak-Turkey strategic relationship. Talking to the Ambassador Rana Tanveer Hussain expressed satisfaction on the ongoing cooperation in defence technical field. They also discussed MoU signed for purchase of Super Mushshak with Ministry of National Defence Turkey which is an encouraging development in the defence relations between the two countries. While talking to the Ambassador of Netherland in a separate meeting Federal Minister discussed the existing cordial relationship between the two countries can be translated into an active interaction in defence field. Federal Minister expressed the desire to identify the avenues for establishing joint ventures related to the defece products between the two countries. Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Defence Production suggested that exchange of visits at various levels will explore the avenues of prospective collaboration in the sphere of defence and defence production industry.
