Consulate General of Pakistan showed a Pakistani movie “Punjab Nahi Jaungi” (will not go to Punjab) at the Consul Generals Residence in Jeddah. It was arranged under the banner of Asian Consul Generals Club (ACGC), which shows movies of their respective countries every year. The event was attended by a large number diplomats, Saudi notables and members of Pakistani community, says a press release received from Jeddah here today. The film revolves around the lead characters of the film making a love triangle. It depicts society and cultural of Pakistan. It is a light romantic comedy film with flavour of love and sorrow and a happy ending. It is latest movie of Pakistan and was released in August last year. In Pakistan it was rated amongst the top earners. The audience in Jeddah also enjoyed the movie and gave a very good response. It is the first Pakistani movie shown in Jeddah after the Saudi Government’s announcement to open cinemas in the kingdom. ***
