President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan strongly condemns the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by the United States. He added that it will have a negative impact on the peace and stability of the region.

While supporting the proposal of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to call the OIC summit, the President hoped that Muslim Ummah will take a strong notice of making Jerusalem the capital of Israel and OIC summit will adopt a tough stance on it. He stressed that declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel will be denounced at all international forum.
