Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost today called on Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain in his office at Islamabad today. Minister thanked for the visit of dignitary and extended best wishes to the worthy guest. He also highlighted that Pakistan and Iran enjoy satisfactory neighboring relations with potential of mutually rewarding multifaceted engagements.

Federal Minister said that Pakistan highly values its fraternal ties with Iran and considers it a close friend and neighbor. The two countries have cordial relations. Our doors are open for all kind of support for Iran”, said Rana Tanveer Hussain. Federal Minister also informed that Pakistan is on its way to development after passing through a crucial phase in fighting terrorism with rewarding outcome for Pakistan as well as neighboring countries.

Federal Minister briefed the dignitary about the Defence industrial potential of Pakistan and desired to know about the Iranian Defence Industry. Federal Minister also extended invitation to attend IDEAS-2018 which will be held in November 2018.
