While showing deep concern over the tragic rape incident of a mentally challenged Christian woman in Sialkot, Federal Minister for Human Rights Senator Kamran Michael has taken serious action and has condemned this inhuman act which took place in village Ladhar chowk, with a mentally challenged woman while she was alone at her home.

He asked the National Commission for Human Rights to conduct a fact finding inquiry and to furnish a detailed report to the ministry on priority basis. Michael expressed that ministry of human rights is serious to take different productive measures to eradicate such incidents and we are determined to safeguard the human rights at every cost. Federal minister for human rights Senator Kamran Michael shared that ministry has always taken care of the rights of human beings with special focus on women and children. We have also formed different solid policies to address such issues on priority basis.

Federal minister said that minorities are enjoying equal rights shared by constitution and they consider themselves safe in Pakistan. Ministry of human rights is always concerned about such sad incidents and soon the culprit will be in the court of law
