Rana
Tanveer Hussain Federal Minister for Defence Production is in Dubai to attend
Dubai Airshow from 12 to 15 November 2017. Minister
of State for Defence UAE has invited the Federal Minister to participate in the
airshow. On the sidelines of the Airshow Rana Tanveer Hussain held meetings
with heads of different international companies.
During the meeting with Mr. Temel
Kotil CEO Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) Rana Tanveer Hussain expressed his
desire to enhance collaboration between Pakistan defence industry and Turkish
Aerospace Industry. An agreement for collaboration in the aviation field was
signed with Turkish Company during 13th International Defence Industry Fair
(IDEF) at Istanbul in May 2017.
Federal Minister also visited stall of
Parker Aerospace and Trans-world Aviation and discussed avenues for cooperation
in the aerospace technology. Kuwait Chief of Air Force visited PAC stall and
held meeting with Rana Tanveer Hussain Federal Minister for Defence Production.
Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex was also present in the meeting.
Speaking at the occasion Rana Tanveer Hussain said that Kuwait is our brother
Islamic country and Pakistan values its relation with Kuwait.
Rana Tanveer Hussain also visited
stall of Leonardo, the Italian company and held meeting with Mr. Alessandro Profumo CEO of
Leonardo. Leonardo is an Italian global high-tech company and
one of the key players in aerospace, defence and security.
