PR No.14 FEDERAL MINISTER FOR CLIMATE CHANGE ZAHID APPLAUDS EFFORTS OF UN-HABITAT’S EFFORTS FOR SUSTAINABLE URBANIZATION IN PAKISTAN. Islamabad: 03, April 2017

Federal Minister for Climate Change held meeting with Ms. Bella Evidents Country Head, UN-Habitat. She informed the Minister about some development projects of UN-Habitat in Pakistan. The state of Pakistan cities is progressing rapidly for implementation. The UN-Habitat teams will go in different provinces and meet focal persons.

Minister also informed her about recent developments taken in climate change. He highlighted that a climate change council and authority will be established under newly passed Climate Change Act.
