President Mamnoon Hussain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Mardan today and commiserated with the families of the innocent people who were martyred in the suicide attack.

Expressing sympathy with the bereaved families, the President directed the concerned authorities to ensure the safety and security of life and property of people so that anti-state elements do not get an opportunity to conduct subversive activities. The President also directed to provide the best medical treatment to the injured of the incident.

The President emphasized that incidents of terrorism cannot deter our national resolve against extremism and Armed Forces and law enforcement personnel would continue action till attainment of desired goals.
