Ms Leila Khan, Chairperson Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, held two separate meetings with Mr. Muhammad Atif, Minister for Elementary & Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; and Mr. Ibrahim Sanai, Minister for Education & Information Gilgit Baltistan at Prime Minister’s Office, in order to apprise the visiting ministers of socio-economic development initiatives for the youth launched by the Federal Government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan under Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.

Speaking at the occasion, Ms Leila Khan said, “Federal Government is running six (06) schemes under Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.  These schemes include Prime Minister’s Youth Business Loan Scheme, Prime Minister’s Interest Free Loan Scheme, Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Programme, Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme, Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme, and Prime Minister’s Youth Training Scheme.”

Chairperson Prime Minister’s Youth Programme briefed the visiting ministers that both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan were being given adequate share in the above-mentioned six schemes of Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, She, however, impressed upon them to initiate robust awareness campaign to motivate the youth of their respective regions to benefit as much as possible from socio-economic interventions of the Federal Government.

Both the Ministers highly appreciated the outstanding job being done by the Chairperson Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and her team in implementing the vision of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for the socio—economic development of the people, especially the vibrant youth, by providing them encouraging environment through its various initiatives.  They thanked the Chairperson, Ms Leila Khan for taking them on board on all these developments, and ensured her of their continuous commitment towards successful implementation of the programme in their areas.
