H.E. David Hale, US Ambassador has a meeting with Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Defence and Water and Power here in his office in Islamabad.

Areas of mutual Interest and cooperation in the field of energy and defence sectors came under discussion.

They discussed regional and international security situation in detail.

Both the side agreed that Peace in Afghanistan would lead to peace in the whole region.

The Minister lauded the role of US companies in Energy Sector, infrastructure development and economic uplifting in Pakistan and hoped that Pak US relations would be strengthened by each passing day.
