PR No.290 No Case Of Illegal Appointment Of A Foreign National Recommended By A Current Parliamentarian Has Occurred. Islamabad

Clarifying statement of the Interior Minister, made on the floor of the House yesterday, regarding role of some parliamentarians in the appointment of foreigners in NADRA, Spokesperson of the Interior Ministry has said that the Interior Minister was referring to certain appointments made in NADRA during the previous governments. One such case is already under probe in NADRA wherein name of a parliamentarian from a previous government has surfaced which is being investigated.

The Spokesperson reiterated that the process of purging NADRA from corrupt elements would continue unabated.
