PR No.153 Minister Of State (CA&DD) Barrister Usman Ibrahim, Chaired A Meeting Regarding Salaries Of Daily-Wage Employees Of FDE Islamabad

Minister of State (CA&DD), Barrister Usman Ibrahim, chaired a meeting today on the status of Daily-Wage staff working under Federal directorate of Education (FDE) in Islamabad.

The meeting that was attended by the Additional Secretary CA&DD, Mr. Qaiser Majeed; Director General FDE, Mr. Moinuddin Ahmad Wani; Joint Secretary (Education), Ms. Aisha Farooq and other officials of FDE, deliberated upon the issue of non-payment of wages to Daily-Wage staff.

Minister of State directed the DG FDE and Joint Secretary (Education) to expedite the efforts to ensure release of funds for the payment of wages to Daily-wage staff. A working group has been formulated under the supervision of DG FDE on the directions of Minister in this regard.

Minister also directed the authorities to look into the matter of entry of fake names in the list of Daily-Wage employees under FDE. He further said that those involved in induction of fake employees should be taken to task.

In the end, the Minister once again sensitized the authorities to ensure availability of funds for Daily-Wage employees at the earliest.
