First Lady Begum Mahmooda Mamnoon Hussain has said that it is the responsibility of family elders to apprise the new generation particularly their children of requirements of the coming age and prepare them for handling future responsibilities. She stated that it is the shared responsibility of parents and teachers to adequately train children to enable them to meet future challenges.

First Lady Begum Mahmooda Mamnoon Hussain said this while addressing the school students in a special function held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday.

First Lady said that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has declared acquisition of education obligatory for every Muslim male and female.  Acquiring of education for men is necessary as it will help to make the world a haven of peace by eradicating injustice and in humanity.  Education is also mandatory for women to enable them to impart sound training to the coming generation, added the First Lady.

Begum Mahmooda Mamnoon advised female students to understand their responsibilities and in this regard take guidance from their parents and elders, focus on their education and play such a role in their homes to nurture feelings of love and sincerity. She further said that we will have to make our homeland a strong and great country but this will be possible only if our children and youth understand their responsibilities and live their life in the light of teachings of Quran and Sunnah.
