In a bit to resolve overseas Pakistanis grievances relating to their disputes pending in different courts of Pakistan, Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar, Senior Advisor (Law)/Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis, Federal Ombudsman Pakistan has written a letter to the Secretary, Law & Justice Commission of Pakistan and stated therein that  Overseas Pakistanis are the main source of foreign exchange for  Pakistan and they remitting around 19 billion of foreign exchange to the country but they have shown their concerns due to property and civil disputes pending in courts at different levels such as encroachment, illegal trace-pass, preparation of fake document for selling their property with mala-fide intention. Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar, Senior Advisor (Law)/Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis, Federal Ombudsman Pakistan stated in his letter that for Overseas Pakistanis confidence and for their early dispute resolution pending with courts, the Honourable High Courts and Civil Courts may kindly be approached through National Judicial Policy Making Committee to designate Judges at High Courts, District Courts and Sub-Division Courts to deal with the cases of Overseas Pakistanis (Plaintiff / Defendant) and to decide these cases in limited time (6 months). It may be ensured that no stay order in such cases be issued beyond 90 days.

Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar, Senior Advisor (Law)/Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis, Federal Ombudsman Pakistan expected in his letter that the Law Commission would place the subject matter before the competent forum for appropriate action in the larger public interest and with the above arrangement in courts, the confidence of Overseas Pakistanis will be boosted and they will take a sign of satisfaction and resultantly they will invest more in Pakistan.
