President Mamnoon Hussain has said that bilateral exchange of delegations in different fields will open up new avenues of cooperation between Pakistan and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

The President said this while talking to Pakistan’s ambassador-designate to Bosnia & Herzegovina Lt. Gen (Retd) Salim Nawaz who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Friday.

The President congratulated Lt. Gen (Retd) Salim Nawaz on being appointed ambassador-designate to Bosnia & Herzegovina. The President underscored the need for hard work and cooperation to bring the two countries further together adding that in this regard avenues of bilateral collaboration should be explored. The President called for regular exchange of delegations between the two countries in the fields of education, culture and other sectors. The President said that Pakistan can also offer educational scholarships to Bosnian students.

President Mamnoon Hussain expressed best wishes to the ambassador-designate in discharge of his new responsibilities. The ambassador-designate thanked the President for guidance and cooperation.
