PR No.30 Ambassador-Designate Of USA Presents Credentials To The President Islamabad: December 3, 2015

Ambassador-designate of United States to Pakistan, Mr. David M. Hale presented his credentials to President Mamnoon Hussain at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday.

Later, the Ambassador called on the President and matters of mutual matters were discussed in the meeting. The President said that Pakistan is desirous of further promoting friendly and cordial relations with the USA. Talking about Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism, the President said that Pakistan has rendered immense sacrifices in war against terrorism and is cooperating with the international community to end this menace and to have peace in the region. He stated that Operation Zarb-e-Azb is progressing successfully emphasizing that the operation would continue till elimination of the last terrorist.

The President felicitated the newly appointed Ambassador to Pakistan and hoped that he would work for further cementing the existing ties between Pakistan and USA. The President also wished the newly appointed envoy a comfortable and pleasant stay in Pakistan.
