President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan is an investment friendly country and an attractive destination for foreign investors and urged the ambassador to highlight government’s liberal investment policies to attract Kuwaiti investment.
The President said this while talking to Pakistan’s ambassador-designate to Kuwait, Mr. Ghulam Dastagir, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Monday.
The President stated that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Kuwait and wishes to further enhance cooperation in all areas of mutual interest. The President said that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kuwait are deep rooted in common faith and shared values. The President emphasized that efforts should be made for regular exchange of business and cultural delegations to expand bilateral relations.
The President urged the ambassador to look after the interests and welfare of Pakistani diaspora in Kuwait. The President congratulated Mr. Gulam Dastagir on his appointment as ambassador-designate to Kuwait and wished him success in discharge of his responsibilities.
