Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani has expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the sad demise of veteran politician and Pashtoon Nationalist leader Mohammad Afzal khan Lala.

Chairman Senate lauded his services for the society and his struggle for democracy. He said that services of late Afzal khan would be remembered, he was a man of principles and stood up against militancy with bravery and courage.

He prayed to Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant fortitude to the bereaved family.
