Mr. Yaver Jamalove, Minister for Defense Industry Azerbaijan had a meeting with Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer Hussain today at Expo Centre, Karachi.

Minister mentioned the PM’s directive to expand defense industrial ties with Azerbaijan and proposed frequent interaction between the two countries in defense military relations. Minister expressed the desire to sign MoU on Defense Industrial cooperation with Azerbaijan at the earliest.

Both sides appreciated the existing training cooperation between the two countries and expressed the desire to expand it further. More over both sides also stressed on the need for frequent exchange of visits by the technicians in order to identify more areas of cooperation.

Minister thanked the delegates for their participation in IDEAS-2016.
