Delegates from three countries including Germany, UK and Japan called on the Executive Director NAVTTC, Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema, at his office today. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and explore new avenues to enhance cooperation and boost collaboration in various areas of technical and vocational sector. The delegates comprised Rare Admiral Amjad Hussain from UK and Mr. Sonoda from Japan.

Mr. Zulfiqar Cheema briefed the delegation about the recent initiatives taken by NAVTTC to introduce reforms in the current TVET system of Pakistan. He urged them to enhance their collaboration to reboot the TVET system in Pakistan.

The delegates praised the steps taken by NAVTTC for the revival of TVET sector of Pakistan and assured their full cooperation and coordination in this regard. They were of the view that Pakistan has tremendous potential for economic growth and sustainable development. They termed the skill competitions being organized by NAVTTC as a big step towards improvement of the skill sector. They reassured to start various mutual projects in technical and vocational sector soon.
