Pakistani Food stall was thronged by people of many nationalities, including the Egyptians, diplomatic community and media, at Pakistan Food Festival held at a local hotel here at Cairo, says a press release received here today from Cairo.

The Embassy of Pakistan at Cairo is organizing Pakistan Food Festival which will continue for three days. Visitors and food lovers from around the world tasted Pakistani cuisines. The entire theme of the stall was presenting a Pakistani culture, which was decorated with traditional Pakistani art and crafts. A documentary “Shining Pakistan” was run to screen the soft image of Pakistan on the occasion. The visitors and food lovers took keen interest and cherished Pakistani cuisines.

The Ambassador of Pakistan Mushtaq Ali Shah inaugurated the Food Festival. Speaking on the occasion, he said that spirit behind organizing the food festival was to help promote the soft image and to introduce Pakistani cuisine into Egyptian food courts. He appreciated Pakistani chefs for making famous Pakistani recipes for food Festival.
