Mr. Nawaf Saeed Al Malikiy, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at PM Office this morning.

 

The Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his new assignment as Ambassador to Pakistan. The Prime Minister stated that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy very close relations that are marked by close brotherly relations, commonalities views on all issues of mutual interest at regional and international level.

 

The Prime Minister said that the people of Pakistan deeply value our strong bonds with the Saudi brethren.

 

The Prime Minister further said that we would welcome Saudi investment in Pakistan under vision 2030, especially in the energy, infrastructure and agriculture sectors. He emphasized that Pakistan offers attractive investment regime that guarantees equal treatment of foreign and domestic investments and ensures a liberal foreign exchange regime and one window operation.

 

The Prime Minister conveyed his good wishes for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

 

H.E. Mr. Nawaf Saeed Al Malikiy, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia congratulated the Prime Minister on assuming the office and expressed the desire to further strengthen bilateral relations. He underscored the potential for enhancing bilateral trade between the two countries and assured his full support in this regard.
