National Security Adviser, Lt Gen (Retd) Nasser Khan Janjua, who is now-a-days on an official visit to Japan on the invitation of the Government of Japan, met with Mr. Kato, Director General, Foreign Affairs and Intelligence Department of Japan and discussed issues relating to bilateral cooperation in the field of National Security and other matters. Mr. Kato appreciated the outcome of Zarb-e-Azabwhich will not only bring gains for Pakistan but international community will also be benefited from the peace and stability in Pakistan.

Later National Security Adviser also met with his counterpart in Japan, Mr. Shotaro Yachi, Secretary General of National Security Secretariat of Japan, who also hosted a lunch in honour of General Janjua. During the luncheon meeting, both the dignitaries discussed the possibility of cooperation in the field of National Security. Mr. Shotaro Yachi also desired to visit Pakistan soon. National Security Adviser presented a shield to his counterpart of Japan in commemoration of his visit to Japan.

General Janjua also visited the Fuji School of Armed Forces in Japan and met with the Commandant and the faculty of the Fuji School in addition to meeting with the trainee soldiers of the Fuji School. The Commandant of School presented a Shield to National Security Adviser to commemorate his visit to Fuji School.
