PR No. 30 JAVED MALIK WELCOMES GOVERNOR KPK IQBAL JHAGRA IN BAHRAIN Bahrain

Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Javed Malik welcomed the Governor Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa upon his arrival along with the Governor Manama Shaikh Hesham Bin Abdul Rehman Al Khalifa and other senior officials. During his visit the Governor will also be meeting the Overseas Pakistani community resident in Bahrain. Various delegations of Pakistanis from KPK and FATA region will also call on the governor at the Pakistan Embassy. Speaking about the visit Ambassador Javed Malik said that, the warm welcome accorded to the Governor indicates the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bahrain and the importance that Bahrain attaches to the visiting dignitaries from Pakistan.

The Ambassador said that the Bahraini Friends of Pakistan will host a lunch for the Governor and a courtesy meeting will also be held with the Minister of Interior Shaikh Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. More than 100,000 Pakistanis live work and do business in Bahrain and a substantial number of this includes people from KPK and they are indeed looking forward to meeting their governor, said Ambassador Javed Malik. He said that regular exchange of visits between both countries not only consolidates our bilateral ties but also promotes goodwill among the people and the government of both countries. Ambassador Javed Malik will also host a high profile dinner in honor of the Governor KPK which will be attended by members of royal family, Parliamentarians and distinguished Pakistanis based in Bahrain and some other gulf countries.
