On the directions of the Prime Minister, the first consignment of the relief goods and items for rains and flood affected brotherly people of Wuhaan, China , has been handed over to the government of the Peoples Republic of China today. The remaining consignments are being transported via ships in coming days.

The Government and the people of Pakistan sent these relief items to their Chinese brethern as a token of affiliation and immense concern in their times of distress. This goodwill gesture has been highly appreciated by the government and the people of China and demonstrates the level of time-tested and brotherly relations between the two countries as well as concern for each other in difficult times.
