PR No. 138 MARVI ALONGWITH BISP BENEFICIARIES OBSERVES ‘BLACK DAY’ IN AJ&K AGAINST INDIAN ATROCITIES PAKISTAN IS RAISING ITS VOICE FOR THE CAUSE OF KASHMIRI PEOPLE AT EVERY FORUM: MARVI Islamabad

Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of Indo-Pak partition and its solution is vital for peace and stability in the region. UN must pay attention to Kashmir issue as it not only involves India- Pakistan dispute but its irresolution also raises question on the goodwill and prestige of UN. The stance of current Pakistani Government on Kashmiris’ right of self determination is very clear. Pakistan stands by the innocent and oppressed Kashmiris across LOC. This was stated by the Minister of State and Chairperson BISP MNA Marvi Memon while addressing BISP woman beneficiaries’ rallies in Hatian Bala and Chakothi LOC. BISP beneficiaries came on streets to protest against India and these rallies were led by Chairperson BISP.

The Minister, as representative of Federal Government, observed ‘Black Day’ in solidarity with Kashmiris against the Indian atrocities across LOC. She attended Black Day events at various places in AJ&K including Muzaffarabad, Domail, Khun Bandway, Hatian Bala and Chakothi LOC alongwith Kashmiri people, local politicians, BISP beneficiaries and officials. Minister for Education MLA Barrister Iftikhar Gillani also accompanied Chairperson BISP during Black Day events.

While addressing the various large gatherings, Chairperson BISP said that Pakistan is raising its voice for the cause of Kashmiri people at every forum. Government of Pakistan will never abandon the Kashmiri brethren.

She further said that India misleads the world by terming the freedom movement as terrorist activities in Indian held Kashmir. There is a clear difference between freedom movements and the phenomenon of terrorism and the word needs to understand this difference. In the garb of curbing terrorist activities, India is committing state terrorism in Indian held Kashmir by arresting, injuring and killing innocent Kashmiris.

The Minister also said that she saluted the valour of Kashmiri people who defied curfew and took to streets to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day in Indian held Kashmir.
