President Mamnoon Hussain has expressed profound grief on the sad demise of veteran journalist and Editor-in-Chief of Pakistan Observer Zahid Malik. Paying tribute to the late eminent journalist, the President said that Zahid Malik was a noble and gifted person who rendered commendable services in the field of journalism. The President stated that Zahid Malik possessed many abilities and his contributions in the field of journalism are worth emulating.

The President prayed for salvation of the departed soul and commiserated with the bereaved family.
