PR No. 129 THERE SHOULD BE MORE EXCHANGE OF PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATIONS BETWEEN PAKISTAN AND ROMANIA. SAYS ROMANIAN AMBASSADOR Islamabad: June 17, 2016.

The Romanian Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Emilian Ion had a call on with the Federal Minister for Defense Productions. They exchanged ideas of mutual interest on political and industrial cooperation in a pleasant meeting.

The tenure of Mr. Emilion Ion as ambassador is ending in Pakistan. He appreciated cultural values of Pakistan. He is going to write a Memoir and will write a full chapter on Pakistan. In that chapter he will clarify the difference between reality and perceptions of Pakistan. He mentioned that for the first time Romanian Consulate have been opened in Karachi, Faisalabad and Lahore.

Federal Minister, Rana Tanveer Hussain appreciated Ambassador for playing active role in enhancing ties between the two countries. He mentioned that for the first time Ministry of Defence Prouction and Romania are going to have an MoU. He also proposed exchange of Parliamentary delegations between Pakistan and Romania.
