PR No .246 NEC, Cabinet Meetings on 30th May Islamabad

Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar here on Saturday chaired a high level meeting wherein important decisions were taken.

Minister for Law Zahid Hamid, Secretary Finance, Dr. Waqar Masood Khan, Secretary Cabinet, Nadeem Hasan Asif, Additional Secretary PM Office and other senior officials were present.

The meeting decided that in accordance with instructions of the Prime Minister, Mohammad Nawaz Sharif meetings of National Economic Council (NEC) and Federal Cabinet will be held on 30th May 2016 at 5.15 P.M and 6.30 P.M respectively. Prime Minster would chair both meetings through video link.

The NEC will discuss and consider the proposed Annual Development Plan and the Public Sector Development Programme. The Federal Cabinet in its meeting would consider and approve the budget for FY 2016-17 .
