Ms Leila Khan, Chairperson Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, awarded certificates to the participants of 5-day capacity building workshop for the technical and vocational training institutes in Pakistan, organized by United Nations Counter Terrorism Implementation Task Force (UNCTITF) in collaboration with Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP).

Ms Leila Khan highlighted, “We should focus on aligning our technical training system with the demand of industry, in order to ensure better employment opportunities for the graduates of our TVET sector.  This can be achieved by enhancing the capacity and developing the infrastructure of our technical and vocational training institutes.”

At the end, Chairperson thanked United Nations Counter Terrorism Implementation Task Force (UNCTITF), International Labor organization (ILO), National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), and other relevant bodies for making this workshop a success.
