President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the government is taking concrete measures for provision of healthcare facilities to the people across the country noting that significant steps had already been taken in this regard.

The President said this while talking to Parliamentary Secretary National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination Dr. Darshan Punchi who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Wednesday.

President Mamnoon emphasized the importance of easy access to cheap and quality health facilities by the public adding that healthy human resource development is key to progress and prosperity of a nation. The President urged that taxes due may be paid by all so that resources can be generated to provide more health facilities to the general public.
