The Italian Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Stefano Pontecorvo had a call on with the Federal Minister for S&T and Defense Productions. They exchanged ideas of mutual interest on political and industrial cooperation in a pleasant meeting. The Ambassador informed the Minister that they will invite him and his team to Italy so they may come and visit various industries which are interest to the GoP in a variety of fields.

The Minister accepted the invitation and said that Italy is a gateway to European market and a very important strategic partner for our Government.

“We are really eager to develop government to government relations in a variety of fields including S&T, and Industries etc,” said Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for S&T and Defense Productions.

He appreciated the efforts of the current Italian Ambassador Mr. Stefano in bringing the two countries close and providing us with great opportunities to work with an active team of Italy in Pakistan. The meeting concluding with the presentation of a shield of thanks to the delegation from the Minister, S&T and D.P. Rana Tanveer Hussain.
