PR No. 175 Federal Minister Riaz Pirzada lauds DR. Abdul Jabbar Bhatti’s achievement Islamabad

Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada has congratulated DR. Abdul Jabbar Bhatti for scaling world highest peak Mount Everest.


The Federal Minister was addressing at reception held in the honour of DR. Abdul Jabbar Bhatti, the conqueror of Mount Everest, at Sports Complex, Islamabad on Tuesday. The reception was jointly hosted by Pakistan Sports Board and Alpine Club of Pakistan.


He said that it was Abdul Jabbar Bhatti’s great achievement as fourth Pakistani to summit the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest.


The Federal Minister lauded his outstanding achievement as great contribution to fly Pakistani flag on Mount Everest.


He noted that Abdul Jabbar Bhatti earlier climbed highest peaks of world having height of 7000 meter and 8000 meter respectively besides participating in Pak-China Expedition. He said that DR. Abdul Jabbar Bhatti is an accomplished mountaineer and an asset for our country.


The Federal Minister said that DR. Abdul Jabbar Bhatti has been awarded Tamgha-e-Husne-e-Karkardagi, adding that Pakistan Sports Board has recommended Sitera-e-Imtiaz for him. He hoped that DR. Abdul Jabbar Bhatti’s name will be considered for Sitara-e-Imtiaz on 14 August, 2017.
