President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the Government is committed to development and progress of Balochistan and it would leave no stone unturned to bring it at par with other provinces. The President stated that completion of mega development projects particularly China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would play a significant role in the development of Balochistan and usher prosperity in the province.

The President said this while talking to Governor of Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Friday.

Governor Balochistan briefed the President about the overall situation in Balochistan and apprised him of the efforts and measures being taken to restore peace and stability in the province.

President Mamnoon stated that construction of GwadarPort and GwadarAirport together with CPEC will create immense employment opportunities for the people of Balochistan and raise their standard of living. On the occasion, The Governor apprised the President about the progress of various projects in his province.
